With the release of Mitel MiCollab R8.0 software, MiCollab adds seamless collaboration for users of MiVoice 6900 series phones, plus integration with Outlook/Office desktop applications.

Next Generation PC Client

  • Windows 7 & 10 Support

User Experience Improvements

  • Presence enhancements
  • User Device selection
  • Support of softphone and DTS phones on MX-ONE
  • Reverse CLID lookup on inbound calls in off-board LDAP
  • MiTeam integrated in the PC Client

Mobility Enhancements

  • iOS – Accept incoming calls on locked screen
  • iOS – Call from native mobile phone
  • iOS – Call handling when on softphone call

Server & Management Improvements

  • Increase scale per server; supports 1,500 users on Exchange 2016
  • MiTeam licensing
  • Push notifications
  • Support of Let’s Encrypt in MSL
  • Support MiCollab Web of Basic Client
  • Remove 2nd IP address of AWV
  • Support of VMWare 6.5
